Yuzu Matcha Lemonade

 

Ingredients for 1 Drink

  • 1.5 g matcha
  • 40 ml water at 70–80°C
  • 20 ml yuzu juice or yuzu concentrate
  • 10–15 ml sugar syrup or agave syrup
  • 150 ml still or lightly sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

 

Optional, for added freshness:

5 ml lime juice
1–2 mint leaves for garnish

 

Preparation

1. Prepare the yuzu base

Add the yuzu juice and syrup to a glass and stir to combine.

2. Add the ice

Fill the glass generously with ice cubes.

3. Top up with water

Slowly pour in the still or lightly sparkling water.

4. Prepare the matcha

Whisk the matcha with 40 ml of warm water until smooth and completely free from lumps.

5. Top with matcha

Slowly pour the prepared matcha over the yuzu lemonade to create a distinct green and yellow layered effect.
