Matcha Vanilla Latte

 

Ingredients for 1 Drink

  • 10–15 ml vanilla syrup
  • 1.5 g matcha
  • 180 ml milk or oat drink
  • 40 ml water at 70–80°C

 

Preparation

1. Prepare the matcha

Whisk the matcha with 40 ml of warm water until smooth and completely free from lumps. Use a bamboo whisk for a light, even texture.

2. Heat the milk

Gently heat the milk or oat drink and froth lightly. Do not allow it to boil.

3. Add the vanilla

Stir the vanilla syrup into the warm milk.

4. Assemble the drink

Pour the vanilla milk into a glass or cup, then slowly add the prepared matcha.

5. Add the finishing touch

Finish with a light layer of milk foam, if desired.
