Matcha London Fog
Ingredients for 1 Drink
- 1.5 g matcha
- 40 ml water at 70–80°C
- 150 ml milk or oat drink
- 1 Earl Grey tea bag or approximately 2 g loose-leaf Earl Grey
- 10–15 ml sugar syrup or vanilla syrup
Preparation
1. Prepare the Earl Grey milk
Gently heat the milk or oat drink without allowing it to boil. Add the Earl Grey and leave to infuse for approximately 4–5 minutes, then remove the tea.
2. Add the sweetness
Stir the syrup into the warm Earl Grey milk.
3. Prepare the matcha
Whisk the matcha with 40 ml of warm water until smooth and completely free from lumps.
4. Assemble the drink
Pour the warm Earl Grey milk into a glass or cup. Slowly add the prepared matcha and stir gently to combine.
5. Add the finishing touch
Finish with a light layer of milk foam, if desired.
